Giorgos Nikolaidis was born in Athens in 1980.
He studied theatre and acting at the Theodosiadis Drama School of Athens from where he graduated in 2006.

He is an acute activist and a volunteer in organizations that deal with the Refugees Crisis in Greece. He was in charge of a creative learning project that was designed for the children in the Refugee Camp of Helliniko in Athens. He also takes part in the actions of the “Melissa Network”, a network concerning women immigrants.
As a member of Men Engage Europe he is in continuous training - education on issues of equality, as well as in actions to activate the participation of men and boys in gender justice and equality.
He speaks English and uses the internet and the new technologies effectively.
From 2019 onwards he is managing director and co-founder of NGO under the name: Gender Alliance Initiative.
